Our Goals
The main goal of the Less Tears...More Years Campaign is to simply save lives. This is done through our education and awareness program, our road safety program, and to continue to strengthen the laws and guidelines which we follow in teaching new drivers. The Less Tears...More Years Campaign is dedicated to the finest education option available and believes that Driver Education should be part of the normal curriculum offered in our public school systems. We have accomplished some of our goals with the Less Tears...More Years Act (HB339) which was adopted by the Texas Legislature and signed into law by Governor Rick Perry in 2009. We still have a long way to go to ensure the best possible education available for every new driver.
